Seed Germination

First you will want to place your seeds in a cup of about 2 ounces of water. Next put this cup in a hot, humid and DARK place that doesn't ever get any light. (Think of the corner of your basement in the darkest place, or in a dresser drawer that never gets opened, etc). Leave your seeds there and in about 24-36 hours you will notice a little white tail prying its way out of the shell. That's when you know its ready to be planted! Simply place your seed into whatver medium your chose to grow in with the white tail side facing DOWN.

If you are growing in soil place the tip of your finger into the soil so that it makes an indent of about a half inch. Place the seed in that indent and then cover with soil lightly. Sprinkle it over the seed until the hole is filled. .

Next pour a small capful of water over the seed. Then expose your growing medium to LED light and in a few days to a week, you will start to see it take shape!

Note for soil growers: Once you plant your seed then cover it over with soil, do not over water it. Only put about a capful of water over top of the spot you just planted, otherwise you may drown it before you even get started.  Think of your need seed as a newborn baby. Newborns are always delicate and need to be handled with care.

That's it for now! Happy growing!
